I’m Aja, the founder of SteeleMedia.

SteeleMedia began as a small writing blog, Book of Steele, where I documented my journey through my first novel and aimed to help writers build confidence and creativity through resources and challenges.

As I shared my experiences, I realised how much I enjoyed helping others bring their creative visions to life. More and more, I was being asked to assist with various creative projects. With my background as a Marketing Consultant and Video Editor, I reflected on my own struggles as a graduate fresh out of university not able to land a job in film due to a “lack of experience.” That frustration sparked an idea: why not create a space where others could build their experience from scratch or expand on what they already had? No experience needed—just passion and creativity.

Today, SteeleMedia has evolved into a platform that not only nurtures creativity but also connects freelancers with opportunities to build their portfolios and client bases.
